South Jackson Performing Arts Center has won eight Broadway World Awards.

“Thank you to our community for your support,” said Director Greg Gressel as he revealed the awards. “It is our promise and dedication to continue to bring you the quality theater you deserve.

Thank you to our thespians, directors, choreographers, musicians, set builders, costumers, stage crews, tech crews and office staff for all that you do every day to make great shows.”

The winners included: 

Best Choreography of a Play or Musical: Kristen Carroll – “White Christmas” – South Jackson Performing Arts Center

Best Costume Design of a Play or Musical: Anne Wonder – “White Christmas” – South Jackson Performing Arts Center

Best Direction of a Musical: Greg Gressel – “White Christmas” – South Jackson Performing Arts Center

Best Music Direction: Greg Gressel – “White Christmas” – South Jackson Performing Arts Center
