Kimberly Diane Scharfenberger Obituary
Kimberly Diane Scharfenberger, 72, of Tullahoma died peacefully at home on Dec. 17, 2024 after complications from a years-long battle with cancer.
Kim is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Scharfenberger, and her beloved daughter, Amanda Scharfenberger.
Born in Pennsylvania into a family that frequently relocated due to her father’s sales career, Kim spent much of her early life moving from place to place. Later, as the wife of Paul, who served in the United States Air Force, she continued this nomadic lifestyle before finally settling in Tullahoma in 1985. Kim dedicated over two decades of her professional life to Traders National Bank, where she worked in the loan department until her retirement in 2015. Known for her diligence and commitment, she left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.
In her personal life, Kim was an avid reader who found joy and solace in books. In her later years, she cherished the companionship of their dog, Rusty, whose presence brought light and comfort to her days.
Honoring Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no formal services planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center located in Nashville.
May Kim’s memory bring peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.
