The Tullahoma boys’ and girls’ cross country teams were both represented at the 2024 TSSAA State Cross Country Championship held in Hendersonville on Nov. 7 and 8.

For the second straight year, Lukas Price represented the Wildcats team. At the meet, he finished in the top half of the wave of 255 runners—finishing 99th.

The girls’ showed well at the championship finishing in 12th place out of the 31 schools that attended. They had three girls finish in the top 60 out of the 243 racers. Katie Grace Nichols finished 47th, Brindley Duncan finished 48th, and Julianna Ites finished 60th.

Both Nichols and Ites finished the race with PRs—Ites with a time of 21:50.54 and Nichols with a time of 21:20.92.
