Richard Paul Burgess, 65, of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Bennington, Vt., on Oct. 1, 1959, to the late Chester Randall and Alberta Mae (Vanorman) Burgess.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Lester Ashley officiating. Interment will follow at New Brick Church Cemetery with Johnny Reed, Marcus Pitman, Jason Cross, Matt Hill, Jason Johnson, and Jack Hill serving as pallbearers.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
