Betty Jean Coker, 83, of Decherd, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Decherd on July 2, 1941, to the late Dock and Elizabeth (Bunch) Conn.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Jordan Atkisson officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial donations be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
