Things more important than money

Mr. Murphy believes I vote personality while he votes policy.  Not true; I vote on policy.  The policy most dear to me now is preservation of our democratic republic.  Without that, no other policy matters!  And Trump is the (only) candidate to call for “termination” of our U.S. Constitution (Dec. 2020) if it does not agree with his beliefs.  As the pathological liar he has been shown to be, maybe I should not believe him.  But I watched him foment violence on January 6, 2021 to subvert the will of the people and overturn a valid election.  And then he called the perpetrators of such violence patriots!  And others who disagree with him as the “enemy from within”.  His actions support these words.

Personality is simply the outward expression of what dwells within.  Trump’s personality mirrors the hate, evil character, and lack of integrity that is within, expressed verbally in his description of people not on his side as murders and rapists. He has claimed to be anti-abortion but has changed that view several times over his career.  Yet he is not pro-life for any immigrant, legal or otherwise, has never expressed any idea on providing healthcare for people who desperately need it to live, and has supported eliminating Medicare and Social Security for elderly who often have nothing else on which to survive.

You may be voting for Trump based on economics, but for me there are things more important that money.  This is one of them.  As a committed Christian, integrity and character matter more to me than lining my pockets with gold, and I will vote based on those “policies”.
