Friends, family and customers joined Stan McNabb and his family for the grand opening of the new location of the Stan McNabb Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat dealership on North Jackson Street.

The new home of the dealership first broke ground in October 2022, right next to the Stan McNabb Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac dealership, and was completed this past March. The official grand opening of the dealership took place on Sept. 5 to not only celebrate its new home, but to the dealership being in business for 36 years, as well as Stan McNabb Automotive celebrating 44 years.

Stan McNabb, alongside his son Trent, welcomed and thanked everybody for celebrating the grand opening of the dealership. Stan briefly went over the history of his business, where he first opened Stan McNabb Chevy Olds Cadillac in 1980, and would open Stan McNabb Chrysler Plymouth Dodge on 1200 E. Carroll St., which would later become the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat dealership.

“We are so proud of moving this out into town, and it’s really perfect,” Stan McNabb said. “Tullahoma is the best community ever.”

Trent McNabb, who runs both dealerships in Tullahoma, spoke next and said he appreciated everyone who came out to the event, including his family, his staff and Emil’s who catered the event. He also recognized U.S. House of Representatives Scott DesJarlais and John Rose, State Rep. Rush Bricken and Tullahoma Mayor Lynn Sebourn.

Trent said in regards to the previous facility, he said anyone stopped by noticed it was “a little passed due on a new facility,” and said after some time deciding where to build the new dealership they landed to setting it up next to the Chevy dealership.

“I know that’s great for me just being across the parking lot instead of being across town. It sure makes it a lot better,” Trent said. “We’re really proud of the facility.”

Trent went on to give props to the staff, where he noted that a third of them have been with them for over 10 years, and praised them for helping to give customers the family experience.

“I’m so thankful for the staff that we have,” Trent said. “That’s what keeps up in business for 44 years total, 36 years here at the Jeep store. We’re just thankful to have all of them with us.”

He also encouraged attendees while they were celebrating the grand opening they can also be the newest customers to the dealership.

Trent said Stan McNabb Automotive has been fortunate with the support from the community, and they always try to give back to the community.

“We’re just blessed to be able to do so and love to do so,” Trent said. “Some of the people here are coming up and thanking us for supporting them while I’m shaking hands with our customers thanking them for supporting us. It’s great both ways.”
