Second annual songwriters’ festival in Bell Buckle

The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its highly anticipated annual Songwriters’ Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the picturesque Bell Buckle Stage Lot grounds.

“This vibrant event promises a day brimming with music, creativity, and community spirit as talented songwriters take to the stage for traditional writers’ rounds,” organizers said.

Festival-goers can explore a variety of songwriter tents, each showcasing unique musical talents throughout the day. Alongside the captivating melodies, attendees can indulge in delightful offerings from craft vendors and savor delicious treats from an array of food trucks.

“It’s a day designed for fun and festivity, where the air will be filled with the original creations of local songwriters,” organizers noted.

The excitement starts with writers’ rounds on the Bell Buckle Stage, featuring a lineup of incredible songwriters.

“We are delighted to welcome two charismatic local personalities as emcees for the event – Raine Baird and Jake Beavers. Raine, with a rich history in radio, has been a beloved voice in the community for years. Jake, the founder and lead singer of the renowned Beavers Brothers Band, brings his Folk rock flair to the festival,” organizers said. “As a special treat, after the writers’ rounds Jake and his band will take the stage for a lively concert, blending original songs with popular covers that will have everyone singing and dancing along.”

Additionally, songwriters will be performing inside local businesses throughout historic downtown Bell Buckle, creating an intimate musical and shopping experience.

“Our local businesses will be staying open late and are eagerly looking forward to seeing you,” organizers revealed. “Special mystery guests will provide surprise performances throughout the festival, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day. Join us for a memorable day of music, camaraderie, and celebration at the Bell Buckle Songwriters’ Festival. Come write your song in Bell Buckle – it’s sure to be a joyful tune! Here in Bell Buckle, we’re always: Close To Home but A World Away.”
