David Eugene Barnett Sr, 77, of Decherd, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems.  A native of Franklin County, he was born on May 27, 1947, to the late John Patrick “JP” and Aline (Douglas) Barnett.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rudy Wilkinson officiating.  Interment will follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
