Tullahoma Lanes was the site of the recent “Strikes for Seniors,” a fundraiser for the Coffee County Senior Citizens Center -Tullahoma. Over 100 seniors, family, and friends of all ages enjoyed an afternoon of bowling and fellowship.

Director Vickie Fulmer was pleased with the turnout and how well the event was received. “We owe a big thank you to Tullahoma Lanes owner Eric and his team for their support, not only during this event, but also during the Senior Center’s weekly Tuesday afternoon bowling sessions.”

Julia Harrison, one of the participants remarked that “It was so much fun, let’s do it again.”

Because of the event’s success, there are plans to hold another bowling fundraiser in the future. The next Senior Fundraiser is an Indoor Yard Sale on Aug. 3 at the Center on N. Collins Street.
