The Tullahoma Little League 8u and 10u All Stars were in Spring Hill for the District 8 tournament this week. Both teams lost in the semifinals.

The busy weekend started with the 10u team winning a nail-bitter against Spring Hill 8-7 on a walk-off from a passed ball and throwing error by Spring Hill. When their game finished the 8u All Stars were starting their game against Spring Hill. They lost 15-2, moving into the losers’ bracket. Both teams played another game Saturday, the 10u team lost 16-1 and the 8u team won 17-7. The 10u was a win away from Championship game. Tullahoma had to come back to Spring Hill on Sunday with the 8u team having a game at noon against Spring Hill’s second team. They won 14-3 to advance into the semifinals against Columbia. The win put Tullahoma’s 8u team a win away from Championship game. They fell 8-1 to Columbia, knocking them out of the tournament. Tullahoma 10u fell in a rematch against Spring Hill 12-9 ending Tullahoma’s weekend.

Tullahoma’s 10-11 and 11-12 All Star teams will be in Spring Hill for their district tournaments starting on June 21.
