The Tullahoma High School baseball team went 35-6 this season en route to their first state title since 1990.

That along with the 22 game win streak to end the season earned head coach Bryan Morris coach of the year honors from The Tennessean.

“I’m grateful for this recognition, but the real credit goes to my players who put in the hard work and dedication every day.” Morris said. “They showed up with a purpose and never gave up on their goals, even when things got tough. After a wake-up call midway through the season, they decided to take control of their destiny and never looked back. It’s an honor to be their coach and witness their growth and success!”

The Wildcats were voted the fourth ranked team in the TBCA’s “All Class” poll to end the season and received a “Middle Tennessee High School Sport Awards” nomination for team of the year.
