Lady Wildcats’ busy summer

The Tullahoma High School girls’ basketball team have been playing camps games this summer.

They have played games at Coffee County HS, Wilson Central, Mt. Juliet and will finish up next week with two days at MTSU.

Lady Wildcats head coach Chad Hibdon said that the team’s focus has been to implement a new defensive concept and that they are making progress in laying a good foundation of that concept.

“In summer you are looking for new leadership to develop when you graduate leaders and that has been a focus as well,” said Hibdon. “We have four upperclassmen that are stepping up into those leadership roles: Kai Barnes, Izzy Lidstrom, McLayne Bobo and Aubrey North.”

Hibdon also said that the team has a lot of new faces coming in to earn a multitude of roles and they had been a fun group that works really hard.

“We are excited about the unity of the team, how hard they play and their desire to listen and be coached,” Hibdon said. “We have been pleased with our summer play and the growth that we are making each day!”
