Carold William Lamb Obituary
Carold William Lamb of Cartersville, GA passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the age of 92. Mr. Lamb was born in New Market, AL to the late Clarence and Viola Sharp Lamb. During his life, Carold served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War, and worked as a foreman for Bliss-Laughlin Steel. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Lamb; three brothers, Harold, Ned, and Ted Lamb; and five sisters, Mattie Pearl Samples, Rean Harding, Helen Mayes, Doris Salyers, and Alberta Couch. He is survived by one son, Lawrence “Larry” Lamb of Kankakee, IL; three daughters, Teresa Mulkey of Everett, WA, Tammy Hacker (Matt) of Cartersville, GA, and Tracy Jordan (Furmon) of Aberdeen, Scotland; four siblings, Earl Lamb, Allean Simmons, Joyce Mayes, and Roberta Syler; and nine grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Chelsea, Zackary, Jacob, Kate, Savannah, Sofie, and Sadie.
Visitation for Mr. Lamb will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 11 – 11:45 a.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home, and will be followed by a graveside service at noon at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
