Nominations for the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce’s fourth annual “40 Under 40: Recognizing Young Professionals” mixer are underway for the summer.

The chamber is asking residents to submit nominations to recognize and highlight the significant accomplishments made by young professionals aged 40 and under in the Tullahoma and surrounding area.

The 40 nominees will be recognized at the annual award and social event on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lakewood Gold & Country Club at 1900 Country Club Lane in Tullahoma. The deadline to submit nominations is July 25 at midnight, while the deadline to register for event tickets is Aug. 9.

The sponsors for “40 Under 40” include Coffee County Bank, title sponsor, Woodard’s Diamonds & Design, awards sponsor, Traders Bank, honoree sponsor, and Jack Daniel’s, beverage sponsor.

“Anyone may submit a nomination and nominations are encouraged from everyone in our community,” chamber officials said.

Chamber officials asks everyone who submits nominations to be detailed in describing nominated person’s accomplishments and explain why the nominated person should be honored. Use this Google form to submit your nomination.

Submitted nominations will be summarized and read aloud at the event. The number of nominations per nominee will not be a determining factor during the honoree selection made by the committee.
