UTSI honors graduates

The University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) held its spring graduation celebration on May 8 to recognize and honor students who have received their bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from UTSI since the summer of 2023.

Over 30 students graduated and 16 participated in the celebration. Chase Atherton, Nicholas Bartlett, Caitlin Bunce, Eric D’Ambro, Elizabeth Dorsett, Nicholas Harris, Benjamin Manipadam, Jamison Murphree, Oriana Palumbo, Christian Sharpe, Michael Stokes, and Tyler Sundstrom received a master’s degree in aerospace engineering; Paul McCormack received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering; Adam Croft and Liwen Zhang received their doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering; and, Bradley Richard received his master’s degree in engineering science.

Also recognized during the celebration were the first three undergraduates to complete a bachelor’s degree at UTSI since 1999. Sophia Edwards and Jack Stickley received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, and McKenna Goss received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
