Anna “Ann” Lee (Hall) Lannan Obituary
Anna “Ann” Lee (Hall) Lannan, 84, of Manchester, was called home to our Lord, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born Sept. 8, 1939, in Burns to the late Charles Edward and Joyce Lathema (Brown) Hall. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Donald “Don” Wayne Lannan; sister, Charlene Hall Huddleston; and niece, Vicki Huddleston.
Ann graduated from Tullahoma High School in 1957, after which she graduated St. Thomas School of nursing in 1960 and became a Registered Nurse for 50 years. She was an avid reader, loved cooking for her family, and sewing with the Handicrafters at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. Every year, Ann made over 40 pies to sell at the Coffee County Fair to benefit the church. When her children were young, she made gingerbread men for them to take to school and continued that tradition with her grandchildren. Her children will miss her fried pies and lasagna the most.
Ann was an excellent seamstress, making an untold number of bowl koozies for the church and clothes for her children and grandchildren. She passed on the skills of cooking, canning, and sewing to her daughters and grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her children, Shawn Lannan, Gavin Lannan, Jill (Todd) Kellogg, and Kim Lannan; grandchildren, Lyla Lannan, Layton Lannan, Hannah Lannan, Logan (Rebecca) Boatman, Ryan Kellogg, Rachel Kellogg, Mallory Moore, and Bryar Moore; great-grandchildren Kyla Lannan, Zane Sundberg, Ryder Sundberg, and Noah Boatman; sister, June (John) Marlin; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Heights United Methodist Church, 2102 East Lincoln Street, Tullahoma TN 37388.
Per her request, there will be no formal services but wishes for everyone to remember Ann in their own special way.
