Marvinda Lee Fletcher Shouse Obituary
Marvinda Lee Fletcher Shouse of Shelbyville passed from this life peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, at the age of 50 years.
Her funeral services were held on Friday, May 10 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma with Pastor Rick Clouse officiating. Burial followed in Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville.
A native of Bedford County, she was the daughter of Larry Fletcher of Beechgrove, and Dorothy Marlin of Shelbyville. On June 29, 2012, Marvinda married Michael Shouse of Shelbyville, and they have shared approximately 12 years together.
Marvinda was the best mother and wife. She loved her family more than life itself and was very proud of her daughters. She was selfless until her last breath. Her strength was indescribable. She had the biggest heart and could always be counted on to help someone else in their time of need. She has left a great void in the lives of all who know and love her, and she will be forever missed.
She worked at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma as the office administrator and was excellent at her job. Her co-workers agree that she was probably the kindest, strongest, and bravest person they have ever known. Marvinda knew there was a definite line between right and wrong. If she knew something was right, she would stand and fight for it no matter what, but if she knew it was wrong, she had no problem calling it out.
Marvinda is survived by her parents, Larry (Priscilla) Fletcher of Beechgrove, Dorothy (Jimmy) Marlin of Shelbyville, husband, Michael Shouse of Shelbyville, daughters, Chelsey (Joshua) Eaton of Shelbyville, Briana Shouse of Tullahoma, brothers, Charlie David (Sabrina) Fletcher of Unionville, Tracy “Shawn” (Desiree) Marlin of Shelbyville, Joey (Gina) Marlin of Shelbyville, Joshua Fletcher of Beechgrove, sister, Melissa Fletcher of Shelbyville, niece, Falicia Fletcher of Unionville, nephew, Braxtin Fletcher of Unionville, and her beloved granddogs, Zoey and Oakley.
