Beverly “Rabbit” Vance Obituary

Beverly “Rabbit” Vance, 87, of Tullahoma transitioned on Friday, April 19, 2024 at her daughter’s residence. She was born on Dec. 13, 1936 to the late George and Annie Bell Green Eady in Lynchburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper D. Vance; daughter, Annette Vance; sisters, Geneva “Sis” Eady, Francis Childress and Velma Waggoner; brothers, Elzie “Bus” Eady, Big Un and Carl Wilson Eady; son-in-law, Glenn “BI” Staples.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Staples, Victoria Eady Butler, and Jackie (Roy) Hardin; sons, Jeff Vance, Jerome (Jackey) Vance, Jerry (Ellie) Vance and Joel (Sharon) Vance; bonus children, Quay Vance and Delphine Price; sister, Barbara Estill; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Eady; special cousins, J.B. and L.B. McGowan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Friday, April 26 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Funeral Services following at 12 p.m. with Pastor James Butler, Jr., officiating and Rev.
