Carolyn Faye Scott of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living at the age of 78.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the service time.

Mrs. Scott, a native of Normandy, was the daughter of the late Mamie Ghea. She was a seamstress at Tennessee Apparel for many years and after retiring babysat numerous children. She enjoyed quilting, doing cross stich and sewing.  She also enjoyed working with her flowers.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Scott; brother, Charles Holder Jr.; twin brother, Richard Alan Holder and sisters, Cora Mae Webster, Martha Shelton and Betty Lawson.

Mrs. Scott is survived by sons, Butch Scott (Rhonda) of Tullahoma, Stacy Scott (Linda) of Morrison and Stephen Scott of Estill Springs; daughter, Carol McKelvey (Brad) of Tullahoma; sister, Annette Bolin of Manchester; grandchildren, Emily Scott, Ashley Scott, Joshua “Jay” Scott (Rachel), Taylor Scott Weddington (Chad), Charlie Scott, Amyah Douglas (Kullin) and Maycee McKelvey (Ethan Temple) and great grandchildren, Anna Reynolds, Thomas Weddington and Camden Scott.
