Julia Belle Cintron Obituary

Julia Belle Cintron, 90, of Tullahoma passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Vanderbilt Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.

She was born on July 19, 1933, to parents Shields Keller Lovell and Myrtle Viola Gorsuch in Cincinnati, Ohio. Julia is survived by her daughters, Jackie York of Estill Springs, Mary Houston of Estill Springs, Lori (Eddie) Saldivar of Tullahoma; grandchildren, John York, Kristi Fanning, Jenny Armstrong, Shelly Killian, Brian Houston; great grandchildren, Brittiany Hambrick, Stone York, Gavin Coker, Tanner York, Lacey York and one on the way; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Luis Cintron; daughter, Carmen Louise Cintron Benson; grandson, Ramon Winfrey Cintron and Aaron Adams; and brother, Junie Lovell. Julia was a member of College Street Baptist Church in Tullahoma. She was involved in the church’s ministries including the Christmas Box, the Card Ministry, and the Prayer Ministry. She loved working at the church’s nursery helping the children. She lived the life of a military wife, traveling and devoting all her time to her family as the best homemaker. She played in Tullahoma’s Bowling League and enjoyed doing ceramics. Everyone knew and will remember her with a heart of gold!

Funeral Services were held Thursday, Dec. 28 at Tullahoma Funeral Home and were officiated by Patrick Waller. Burial concluded at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
