Joretta Ann Hise of Tullahoma passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 80.

Mrs. Hise was born in Shelbyville to the late John W. and Roberta McCamey Swann. During her life, Mrs. Hise was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Joretta was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Davenport. She is survived by her loving husband, Alton Parker Hise; two sons, Johnny Lee Hise (Darla) and Tony Hise (Gina); one sister, Tina Bates; four grandchildren, Haley Tankersley (Cody), Ryan Bean (Jennifer), Riley Rollins (Bradon), and Jacob Hise (Danielle); and 12 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Emily, Amelia, Walker, Lucy, Parker, Paisley, Jaxon, Lainey, Saylor, Hayden, and Swayze.

Funeral services were held Dec. 1 in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Munyon officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Kilgore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
