Donald Henry Damron of Tullahoma passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 at Lynchburg Nursing Center at the age of 79. Mr. Damron was born in Shelbyville to the late Henry and Chester Whitmore Damron.

During his life, Donald worked in general labor for Eaton Industries, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Damron was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sawyer Damron; and one son-in-law, Bobby Goodwin. He is survived by two sons, Dewayne Damron (Jennifer), and John Damron (Darla); one daughter, Cindy Goodwin; seven grandchildren, Cory Damron, Reagan Damron, Lucy Damron, Katherine Damron, Jenna Damron, Thomas Goodwin, and Callie Goodwin; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Chase, Carly, and Beau.

Visitation for Mr. Damron will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024 from noon to 2 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, the family asks that donations in Donald’s memory be made to Pleasant Hill Methodist Church – 1771 Pleasant Hill Rd. Lynchburg, TN 37352.
