Frances Hill Sitz of Estill Springs passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 87.

Mrs. Sitz was born in Coffee County to the late Hobart and Estia Johnson Hill. During her life, Frances worked as an LPN for the Snoddy Galbraith Clinic, and was a member of Estill Springs Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sitz was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, George Sitz; and one sister, Jo Guinn. She is survived by three sons, Derwin Sitz (Patty) of Estill Springs, Steve Sitz (Linda) of Estill Springs, and William Sitz of Kingsport; one brother, Glenn Hill (Ruth) of Tullahoma; one sister, Ann Gore (Kenneth) of Tullahoma; four grandchildren, Megan, Sara, Erik, and Zane; and one great-granddaughter, Tallulah.

Funeral Services will take place Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Pastors Gerald Hice, Ron McCormick, and Richard Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
