Trick or Treat: Festivities set for Halloween weekend

This coming Halloween weekend will be filled with various spooky festivities happening in Tullahoma.
Halloween falls on a Tuesday, a school night, this year; however, that is not tampering the spooky season as various businesses, churches and organizations will be hosting trunk or treats and other events during the weekend of Oct. 27 through 29.
Here’s a list of the following Halloween events:
Oct. 28:
- Myers Customs and Automotive, LLC will be hosting their 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Cruise-In on Sat, Oct. 28. This fun and free event will be at 800 S. Anderson St. from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Myers will welcome classic cars, jeeps motorcycles, and just everyday fun cars. All cruisers are encouraged to bring candy to hand out to the trunk or treaters. There will be games and prizes for the trunk or treaters and the cruisers.
- Residents are invited to Normandy for its Fall Festival & Street Dance on Sat, Oct. 28, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Front Street in Normandy. There will be a Trunk or Treat from 3 – 5 p.m., live music by Chase Clanton Music from 5 – 7 p.m., dancing, a bake sale, corn hole, free raffle drawing and food trucks from Bouchard Burgers, Mother’s Subs, The Kettle Krew and The Vintage Cup Coffee.
- The Hands-On Science Center will be kicking off its four-day HOSC Fall Fest with be a ribbon cutting of the “Spooky Science Maze” at 10:15 a.m. Following the ribbon cutting will be the HOSC Trunk-or-Treat from noon to 3 p.m.
- Exit Noble Realty Group will be hosting its Trunk or Treat free event at 1350 Cedar Lane from 4 – 6 p.m.
- Experience Community Church in Tullahoma will be hosting its Fall Festival at Frazier McEwen Park from 3 – 5 p.m.
- Kings Cross Church will be hosting a trunk or treat and fall festival at its location at 222 Turkey Creek Road from 3 – 5 p.m.
Oct. 29:
- The Hands-On Science Center continues its HOSC Fall Fest with a day filled with fall themed games and crafts from 1 – 5 p.m.
- Church of Christ at Cedar Lane will be hosting its trunk or treat at its location at 1200 Cedar Lane from 5 – 7 p.m.
- Tullahoma First Church of the Nazarene will be hosting its trunk or treat from 5 to 7 p.m. at its location at 5 – 7 p.m.
- Wesley Heights United Methodist Church will be hosting its trunk-or-treat at 2101 E. Lincoln St. on Sun, Oct. 29, from 2 – 4 p.m. In case of rain the event will be moved inside.
Oct. 30:
- The Hands-On Science Center continues the Halloween festivities with ghostly slime making, spooky science classes and fall games from 2 – 6 p.m.
Oct. 31:
- Downtown Tullahoma will be open for trick or treaters from 3 – 5 p.m.
- The Hands-On Science Center concludes its HOSC Fall Fest with its Halloween Toddler Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m., and a Halloween party from 4 – 7 p.m. There will be both a kids and adults costumes with prizes from 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively. Concluding the evening will be the Punkin’ Destruction, the Science Way at 6:30 p.m.
- Chick-fil-A in Tullahoma will be hosting its Trunk or Treat Classic Car Cruise-In at its location from 4 – 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to come dress as their favorite characters and bring their families out to the free event to enjoy the decorated cars.
- Parkview Retirement having trick or treating from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at its location at 1601 Cedar Lane.
- First Baptist Church will be hosting its Fall Festival at 108 E. Grundy St. from 4 – 6 p.m.
