Peggy Joyce Gipson Partin, 85, of Decherd, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 24, 2023.  Peggy was born on May 26, 1938, in Decherd to the late Bill (Annie) Stephens and Jo (Odell) Smith.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Watson Funeral Home with Jonathan Blaser and Gordon Lee officiating.  Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Cage Sabo, Derrick Everett, Michael Stephens, Jamie Walls, Greg Madsen and Bryan Chapin all serving as pallbearers.
