Leland Cox Denman, lovingly known as Lee, 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and daughter, on September 16, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama. Lee was born in Oliver Springs to Reverend Elmer Hoyle Denman, Sr. and Lela Cox Denman on Feb. 4, 1932. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, with funeral service following in the chapel with Reverend Doctor Michael Clark officiating.

The interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pall bearers.  Memorial Donations may be made to Cumberland Youth and Family Services, 909 Greenlee St, Denton, TX 76201, (940)-382-5112.
