Tullahoma with second mercy rule win in a row

Tullahoma hosted Webb on Tuesday and beat them 9-0 for their second straight mercy rule victory.
The Lady ‘Cats got it started early, scoring in the first minute of the game when Avery Sisk followed up on a McLayne Bobo shot for the first goal. The second goal was in the fifth minute after a direct kick from Sisk who assisted Alexis Chamblee. Bobo scored a goal in the ninth minute on an assist from Gracie Martin. Faith Vincent booted in a goal from over 30 yards out after receiving a pass from Catelynn Ballard. Brindley Duncan scored the fifth goal of the half in the 23 minute when she followed up a shot, Harper McShea scored the last goal of the half in the 24 minute after receiving a pass from Macy Marcel. The Lady Wildcats took the 6-0 lead into the intermission. Nine minutes after the break Ballard scored a goal when she followed up on a shot from Bobo. The eighth goal scored in the 30 minute of the half by Marcel on a half volley shot off of McShea’s corner kick. Then for the second straight game, Duncan walked it off for Tullahoma scoring the ninth goal. She was assisted by Martin.
The Lady ‘Cats also hosted LEAD Academy from Nashville on Thursday and won 9-0 for the third time in seven days. The full recap will be in the next edition. Tullahoma will travel to Marshall County Tuesday for their first district game of the season, the match will start at 6 p.m.
