Tullahoma City Schools will be welcoming its students back to campus Wednesday, Aug. 2, for a new year of education for the 2023-2024 academic year.

“I am so excited to welcome students back to school this Wednesday,” said TCS Director of Schools Dr. Catherine Stephens. “As superintendent, this time of year is always special. With school getting underway soon, we ask that all parents, guardians and students be patient with arrival and dismissal over the first few days as we get settled back into this routine. It has been a joy to visit each of our campuses and witness the pure joy that our teachers and staff members have as they get set to welcome students back into the classroom and get the learning underway. This will undoubtedly be a great school year as we challenge students today for a limitless tomorrow.”

The first day of school for students will dismissed at 1 p.m. with other early dismissal 1 p.m. days tentatively scheduled for middle and high schools for 2023 are Aug. 23, Sept. 20, Nov. 8, and Dec. 13. Breaks that are scheduled for the school year are Fall Break from Oct. 6 – 13, Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 20 – 24, Winter Break Dec. 22 – 29 and Spring Break from March 15 – 22. The last day of school will be May 24, 2024 with a 1 p.m. dismissal.
