Ann E. McGowan, 87, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Magnolia Manor in Midway, Georgia.  A native of Franklin County, she was born on Feb.10, 1936, to the late Claud and Corene (Holiday) Farris.   Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  Funeral will be held Sunday, May 21 at 4 .pm. in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Don Parker officiating.  Interment will be at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
