Kathleen Brewer Matthews, 71, of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  A native of Franklin County, she was born on Aug. 5, 1951, to the late John Thomas and Anna Elizabeth (Partin) Brewer. Funeral Services were held Monday, May 22 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Charles Houston and Mark Bolin officiating.  Interment followed at Mt. Garner Cemetery with Robbie Sanders, Melvin Sanders, Brian “Bear” Brewer, Blake Boyett, Charlie Brewer, and Wade Clark serving as pallbearers. 

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
