The Tullahoma high school boys’ tennis team advanced in the district team tournament on Monday with a 4-3 victory over Coffee County.

Eli Martinez secured the win for the Wildcats with an 8-6 victory in his singles match. The two teams split the two doubles matches. Luke Reagan and Ryan Tenison were the doubles pair that won for Tullahoma with an easy 8-2 match. Tenison also handled his singles match easily with a shutout, winning all eight games. Reagan won his singles game like his doubles partner. Reagan’s match was not a landslide like Tenison’s, but he still won 8-6.

The Wildcat boys are in the finals and will play against Lincoln County next week for the Championship. The Wildcats are competing in the singles Tournament at Shelbyville on Wednesday and Thursday.
