The Tullahoma Middle School Golf team won their first home game of the 2023 season beating North 10-2 flags.

The Wildcats did not lose any of the four matches of the day, and only missed out on one full flag. They tied and got a half flag twice.

Alex Miller was the only Wildcat to play individually. The match started slow for Miller, lost the first flag and tied on the second one, but Miller ended on a high note. Took the last flag of the match forcing it to end in a tie 1 ½ – 1 ½.

Tullahoma had three partner teams play Jack Reed/Peyton Miller, Kyle Tipps/Julie Ketcherside, and Reece Stewart/Kayden Shultz.  Reed and Miller dominated their competition taking all three flags of their match, winning 3-0. Tipps and Ketcherside also won fairly easily. They took the first two flags of the match and tied on the third one, winning 2 ½ – ½. Stewart and Shultz wanted to repeat the dominance displayed by Reed and Miller, so they also took all three flags of their match. Finishing the day strong for Tullahoma with their second 3-0 win.

The Wildcat Golf team will be back in action at Lakewood Golf and Country Club Thursday for their second home game of the season. They will host Harris Middle School. The game will start at 4 p.m.
