Franklin High School alumni from the years 1970 through 1979 are encouraged to reunite with their classmates for the “Decade Reunion” on Saturday, May 6.

The reunion will be held at the Belvidere Community Center, the Old Belvidere School Building, and will go from 6 p.m. to midnight on May 6. The cost of attending will be $10 for one ticket or $25 for couples in advance and $15 and $30 on the night of the event for singles and couples respectively. Those wanting to make payments can make it out to Michael Wright/FCHS at 117 Decla St., Cowan, TN 37318.

Reunion organizers ask those who are planning to attend the reunion to respond to Facebook invite. They added that any other FCHS classmates are welcomed to attend the event regardless what year they graduated.

“Let’s make this a spectacular event for all for us to remember,” organizers said.

The reunion is also a “bring your own drinks” and coolers. There will be water and other beverages available. Food will be available to purchase from food trucks which will be announced at a later date.
