James Henry “Shorty” Dyer, 90, of Pelham passed away on Dec. 29, 2022, at St. Thomas-Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Dyer was born in Pelham on June 9, 1932, to the late David Hampton and Tommie Little Dyer. Funeral services were held Tuesday. Jan. 3 at Prairie Plains Church of Christ with interment following at Prairie Plains Church of Christ Cemetery.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
