In what has become a tradition in Tullahoma football, jerseys #8, formerly worn by Eli Grow, and #66, formerly worn by Jason Few, gets handed out to be worn by two THS players each season who are highly respected and have high character to honor their memory and legacy.

The two players to wear their numbers in 2026 have been selected.

The two players bestowing the honor of wearing #66 and #8 are seniors Patrick Riddle and Hunter Hall. Each of the two will be starters on the Wildcats’ offense, with Riddle being the starting QB and Hall being an offensive lineman. Hall also will be featured on the defensive line.

For the two THS players, Hall and Riddle, putting on a THS uniform already holds great pride. That was further emphasized earlier in the offseason when the football program announced and did a jersey change, centered around a third stripe on the shoulder pads that ties all three phases of being a Wildcat football player. That pride, though, is amplified to the highest honor of Tullahoma football in wearing #8 and #66.

Both players that the jerseys represent, Grow and Few, each tragically passed away in car accidents. Few passed away in 1988, and Grow passed away in 2016. Each Few and Grow represented what it meant to be a Tullahoma Wildcat to the highest degree, and Riddle and Hunter and each of the players that get selected to wear their numbers down the line for Tullahoma football will carry that standard forward.
