No words can express my appreciation to the excellent care I received from Vanderbilt-Harton, Vanderbilt-Nashville, Vanderbilt Airflight, Tullahoma Life Care and St. Thomas Walk-in Clinic.

On July 14, 2022, I was air lifted to Vanderbilt-Nashville for a tear in my aorta and blood leaking into my heart sack. I was in surgery for nine hours and had a 2% chance of survival. I thank the Lord every day for another day and I am here to do something for Him and to spend a little more time with my family and friends. Two weeks later I was air lifted again to Vanderbilt-Nashville with a-fib and mini stroke. I had wonderful care from everyone. They all worked together and gave me excellent care.

I went to Vanderbilt-Harton for cardiac rehab for several weeks and they were wonderful. I am still doing some rehab to gain strength.
