Tullahoma’s Olivia Murphy and Logan Holt did their hometown proud at the state championships in Knoxville this past week.

Holt finished 63^rd out of 108 in the 50-meter freestyle and 47^th in the 100 free. His times were 23.73 in the 50 and 51.14 in the 100. His placement comes after contesting against 854 swimmers at the meet.

Meanwhile Murphy got sixth place in the 100 free, breaking her own Tullahoma record with a time of 52.88. The finish put her on the podium and qualified her to the Sectionals. She took 11^th in the 100 fly with a new personal best of 58.26.
