Frances Tucker celebrated her 100^th birthday this past week, sharing the centennial with scores of friends and family.

Her son, Richard Tucker, one of her three children, said his mother enjoyed marking the occasion with the well-wishers who came to the party. In addition to her children, she has 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchild. Her husband, Paul Tucker, passed away about 20 years ago.

Richard noted that when his mother was able to get around better she loved going to casinos. And, in years past, she enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and had even sang on the radio and did USO shows back during the war.
