The United Way of Highway 55 which serves Coffee, Warren and Moore counties is asking for the public’s help in stuffing the bus full of school supplies for the upcoming year.
According to UWH55 Director Ashley Abraham, the ongoing collection drive will culminate July 14 when the bus will arrive outside Buffalo Wild Wings in Tullahoma for volunteers to fill it full of donated supplies from 3 to 6 p.m.
Abraham noted that bins for collections by businesses, churches and organizations will be provided on request and then those bins full of supplies can be brought to the collection area on July 14. Those supplies can be dropped off at 201 NW Atlantic St in Tullahoma or be brought directly to the bus.
“We need your help,” Abraham said.
Among the items needed are Crayola Crayons, markers, folders, #2 pencils, headphones, composition books, calculators, snack, backpacks, erasers, glue sticks, pencil pouches, expo markers, colored pencils, college/wide ruled paper, three ring binders, highlighters, Lysol wipes, tissue, scissors, feminine products, lunch boxes and binders.
Abraham can be reached by emailing Director@highway55unitedway.org.
