A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Franklin County this past week when he reportedly failed to yield at an intersection.

The man, Drew A. Gamble, 31, was traveling north on Beth Page Road in his 2001 Honda VT when he failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 279. It was there his vehicle collided with the 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by Larry C. Eggert, 48, who was traveling east on Highway 279. Eggert was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

The fatality happened on July 28 around 6:15 p.m. according to the highway patrol. There are no pending charges.
