Tullahoma beat by Spring Hill in district match

The Lady Wildcats volleyball team fell in five sets to the Lady Raiders 25-22, 20-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-12.

Tullahoma hosted Spring Hill for their sixth district match of the season and the loss made their record 2-4 in district and 5-6 overall.

The Lady ‘Cats racked up 22 total aces in their 100 serves on the match. Olivia Spencer led the team with 11 aces. Emeri Saunders had the second most with seven; Audrey Todaro, Isabella Lidstrom, Aubrey North and Alaisha Bowen each had one to round out the team’s total to 22. Saunders led the team with 15 of the 36 kills. Lidstrom had six, Lacee Barbeau had five, Jada Spry and Bowen both had three. Spencer and Emma Bell both had two. The Wildcats tallied 80 digs as a team in the match. North led the way with 19, followed by Spencer with 15 and Spry with 14. Saunders had 10 as the last Lady ‘Cats with double digit digs. Lidstrom, Todaro, Barbeau, Bell, and Bowen had digs as well. The team had 32 assists, highlighted by Spry with 15 and Todaro with 12. Spencer had 3, Saunders and Barbeau both had one.

Tullahoma traveled to Franklin County Tuesday, but the results were unavailable at time of print. They travel to Manchester Thursday for their second match against Coffee County. The Freshman match will start at 4:30 p.m. with JV immediately after that and Varsity as the last match of the night slated to start at 6:30 p.m.
