Alex Miller headed to State

The Tullahoma High School Wildcats Golf team finished third in the Region competition at Bear Trace Tims Ford with a score of 317, Alex Miller had the lowest individual score of 74 to advance to State.

Only the winning team advances to the State competition, but the lowest three individuals not on the winning team advance as individuals. Miller won a three person playoff to win the low individual score and qualify for the TSSAA State Golf Tournament on Oct. 9 and 10. He is in group 45 and has a scheduled tee time of 9:47 a.m.  Head coach Barry Bishop said the other Wildcats played great too. Keegan Taylor and Brody Fulmer both shot a 78, Caden Finchum had an 87 and Jack Hill shot a 90. Myla Dennis shot a 100 to finish 12 individually out of 23 competitors.

The Wildcats’ competitive record on the season was 49 wins 22 loses and two ties.
