Rayford Thomas Rigney Obituary

Rayford Thomas Rigney, fondly known as Ray by his family and friends, was born in Manchester, to the late Charles Calvin and Lizzie Williams Rigney, on October 26, 1947. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Ray enjoyed football, basketball, golfing, and spending time on the lake.

In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by five brothers, Orvill, Doyle, Charles, Jr., Max Wayne “John”, and Kenneth Joe Rigney. He is survived by his loving wife, Debi Coppinger Rigney; daughter, Tracey Lee Trail; grandson, Kyle Thomas Glascoe; brother, William “Bill” Rigney; sister, Jewell Dean Rigney; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Ray were conducted on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Manchester Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation with the family was held from noon until time of service. Ray passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14. at his home after an extended illness.
