Bonnaroo addresses price increase and rising production cost

With the recent announcement of dates and a presale ticket date, Bonnaroo officials released a statement addressing upcoming ticket prices and the rise in costs to produce the event.

Festival officials informed Bonnaroovians that should mark their calendars to return to The Farm for the weekend of June 13 – 16, 2024 on Thurs, Nov. 2, and the “Troo Roo Presale” date to purchase tickets is set for Thurs, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. CT.  Prior to the announcement of the presale ticket date, officials for the music festival released a statement letting festival goers know that ticket prices will be looking different this year and why.

“We are proud of this community that we have built together,” officials said in the statement. “In the spirit of the Roo community and communication, we wanted to give you a heads up as we prepare for the annual presale.”

Per the statement, when festival goers purchase their presale tickets, they’ll see a new price that will include all fees upfront with the only additions at checkout will be the chosen shipping and locally applicable sales tax. Officials added that for the first time in more than a decade, the base price will have a notable increase, yet the increase will “still be far less than inflation over that time.”

“The cost of producing this magical world has increased and our goal is to be as transparent with you as possible,” officials said. “To continue to deliver the quality experience you have come to love and appreciate, prices need to go up just slightly.”

The statement concluded that The Farm is “the most magical place on Earth” and 2024 will be an incredible year.

“We can’t wait to see you next summer!” officials said.
