Florence Margrett Baker, age 47 of Tullahoma, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She was born on May 26, 1976, to parents Daniel Diaz and Sarah Deitrick in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Florence is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Diaz. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Kurtsinger and stepfather, Chuck Kurtsinger. She was a loving mother to son, Justin Baker, and daughter, Abby Baker; sisters, Kim (Bill) Cook, Laura Dudley, Rachel Kurtsinger, and Candice Diaz; and brother, Scott Diaz.

Florence worked as a baker for Publix, she attended college and completed her associate degree and was a loving mother of two children. She liked art, she loved to read and listen to music and most of all spend time with her children and being an aunt to her nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. with memorial service beginning at 5 p.m. for friends and family to gather and celebrate the memories they have with Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name for her children at First Bank of Tullahoma on West Lincoln Street.
