James Edward Taylor, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. James was born in Chattanooga to the late William and Fannie Taylor. He was retired from Hawkersmith Construction. He also loved fishing and NASCAR.

He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Hopkins and Tammy Ferrell and two grandchildren, Austin Cunningham and Leah Sweeton.

Funeral services were be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family was held from 5 till 8 p.m. Monday at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Tullahoma Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
