Jerry Ray Harper, 79, of Cowan, passed away on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  A native of Franklin County, he was born on Jan. 31, 1945, to the late Arthur Ray and Josie Ethel (Bailey) Harper. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with L.Z. Johnson officiating. 

Watson Funeral Home and Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
