Coffee County Mayor Judd Matheny recently presented a check for $10,000 to Coffee County Rescue Squad Chief Neil Simmons following the March 28 Health, Welfare and Recreation Committee meeting.

The donation mirrors one presented by the City of Manchester following a fire this past December that started with a vehicle and damaged a large portion of the squad’s main building.
