The Tullahoma Middle School golf team beat Fayetteville 10.5-1.5 in the first round of the CTC tournament.

Peyton Miller and Brody McShea were the pair together for match one. They won the first flag, lost the second but won the third to win their matchup. Bryton Toombs and Reece Stewart were the pair for match two, the won all three flags, giving the ‘Cats a 5-1 lead halfway through. Corbin Thompson and Andres Kiebert were the other Wildcats pair who claimed every flag. Kayden Shultz and Brayden McCarty were the fourth pair for Tullahoma, there was a lightening delay during the match with two holes remaining for flag three. They had already won the first two flags and despite the weather, they still tied for the last flag.

Tullahoma will take on Westwood at WillowBrook Golf Club Monday at 4 p.m. in the second round of the tournament.
